Megami Kouhosei

In the future, there is only one planet left, Zion, which is being protected by giant "robots" called Goddesses. Enter Zero Enna, who wants to become one of those Goddess pilots, ever since his first contact with the 'White Goddess'. He goes to the Goddess Operator Academy (G.O.A.) and becomes a candidate. Megami Kouhosei is mainly the story of Zero's adventures at G.O.A.

Erts Virny Cocteau

Although we see him briefly in chapter four and eight of the manga, we aren't formally introduced to Erts until chapter nine (volume two). He is part of the G.O.A.'s top class and although the youngest of them, he has the biggest chance of becoming a pilot because of his abilities. Erts has a very kind character, but due to his EX' ability being telepathy, he avoids physical contact with people.
